How Vello Works

Vello is a conferencing service that allows you to call conference participants simultaneously to start your meetings, making meetings more productive. No dial-in numbers or access codes to remember.

  1. Select Participants
  2. Press “Call Now” or “Schedule”
  3. Vellocall Begins

Everybody answers their phone and hears a recorded message stating that you have invited them to a Vellocall; they push "1" — and are added to the conference.

Easy scheduling from a web browser

Vello makes it easy for you to set up and manage calls. Just upload your contacts from Microsoft Outlook, using the Vello Contact Sync Tool. The Vello Scheduler features drag-and drop functionality to quickly add people to a call and set a date and time. Vello automatically sends an email invitation to all participants that includes a calendar link, and Vello also sends follow up notifications if the time or date changes. Have a regular group you call? Enter the participants once and save them as a group. Next time, just select the group to dial instantly or to schedule a new or recurring call.

Receive a Vellocall wherever you are

For ease in locating busy mobile professionals at conference time, Vello can dial multiple numbers (office, cell, home) to ensure it reaches them wherever they are. If they are unable to answer the call right away, your participants receive a voicemail reminder of the call with a standard dial-in number. They dial 888 MYVELLO from the U.S. and Canada or 1-408-516-4768 from other regions. When scheduled participants dial in from the same number they were called, they automatically join to the proper conference.

Make conference calls from your mobile device

Any phone worldwide can participate in a Vellocall. Initiating calls from a mobile phone requires the Vello Mobile application. Once you have created an account from the Vello website, you are ready to set up Vello on your mobile device. Use your mobile phone to browse to the www.vellocall.mobi website and download the application directly to your mobile phone. Now, you are ready to roll! Just select your participants (individually or in a group), push the "Call" button, and instantly a call is initiated to participants who are added to the conference.
